Kanopy offers thousands of critically acclaimed films and documentaries for free via a credit system. Kanopy also includes Kanopy Kids and Kanopy Series with unlimited plays within a 30-day time period. West Orange residents need only a valid library card to create an account.

Important Information:

  • Kanopy is a streaming service
  • ​Each film uses one credit. (Credit is deducted once "Play" is pushed.)
  • Once a credit is used, films are available for three (3) days (72 hours).
  • West Orange resident card holders receive 10 Kanopy credits per month.
  • Kanopy series and Kanopy Kids (K series and K kids) are available for 30 days with unlimited views. They do not use Kanopy credits. K series includes all titles within the series. K kids includes all titles in K kids.
  • Kanopy is available on the following platforms:  Iphone, Ipad, Apple TV, Android, Android TV, Chromecast, Roku, Fire TV, Fire Tablet, Samsung.
